ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Hi, I'm Vega.
Welcome to Pregnancy Guide.

I created Pregnancy Guide to help you feel informed, supported, and less alone on your pregnancy journey. Every guide, tool, and article is made with research, care, and a mom's heart.

You've got this, mama.

My Story

I'm a mother of two in Taiwan — and I remember both my pregnancies with a clarity that surprises me now. The first-trimester nausea that made brushing my teeth an ordeal. The anatomy scan where I couldn't breathe until the sonographer said everything looked fine. The third-trimester insomnia that no pillow arrangement could fix.

Pregnancy Guide exists because I want expecting moms to have clear, evidence-based answers without wading through medical jargon, fear-based marketing, or content that feels written by someone who's never been pregnant.

Before motherhood I taught young kids English for years, and trained in mindset and personal-growth work. Both shaped how I write here — breaking complex science into bite-sized steps, and remembering that information is only useful if it lands at the right emotional moment. Every article here references ACOG, CDC, and WHO guidelines, combined with the kind of honest, mom-to-mom context you actually need.

And that's how Pregnancy Guide was born.

My background

  • Mother of two — daughter born 2016, son born 2019

  • Trained in mindset, self-development, and spiritual-growth work
