Why kick counting matters
Kick counting (also called fetal movement counting) is one of the simplest ways to monitor your baby's well-being in the third trimester. A healthy baby moves at least 10 times within 2 hours during an active period.
A sudden decrease in movement can be an early warning sign. Tracking daily helps you learn your baby's normal pattern so you can spot changes quickly.
